Can my external accountant carry on?
Yes, and it is usually best: they get access to what they need and stop asking you for files.
Does Odoo work for electronic accounting?
The chart is set up with the grouping the authorities require and the reports come from there. The details are reviewed with your accountant during the assessment.
Does all the history have to be migrated?
Not always. Opening balances and the current year are usually enough; migrating more is decided with your accountant.
What if I only want sales and inventory for now?
That works: accounting comes later, when you need it. Phasing it is the normal approach.
