Guía · Qué es un CRM · Chultún
A CRM is where everything that is not yet a sale lives.
Your invoicing system knows what you already sold. What nobody stores is the middle: who asked, what you quoted them, when they said they would think about it and who was going to call them. That is a CRM. And the reason most end up empty is not laziness: it is that filling them in by hand does nothing for the person who has to fill them in.
Sound familiar?
It happens in almost every business.
Somebody asks how a customer is doing and you have to ask the rep.
A rep left and their customers and pending deals went with them.
You bought a CRM, nobody filled it in, and it became one more thing nobody uses.
What you get
What gets done.
What it stores, specifically
Who the contact is, how they arrived, what they asked for, what they were quoted, what stage they are at and who is responsible.
What problem it actually solves
Making the knowledge of the business live in the business, not in one person's head or phone.
How it differs from an ERP
A CRM looks after what is not yet a sale. An ERP handles what already is: stock, purchasing, invoicing, accounting.
Why most end up empty
Because entering data is extra work for the rep and somebody else gets the benefit. If the CRM does not fill itself, it does not get filled.
What to look at before buying one
Not the feature list: where the data will come from. If the answer is "somebody will type it in", you already know how it ends.
How we work with you
Three steps, no surprises.
- 01
Look at how they reach you today
WhatsApp, phone, email, the counter. That is the first place to connect.
- 02
Define the real stages
The ones your sale actually has, not the ones from somebody's manual.
- 03
And give everything an owner
A lead without an owner is not a lead: it is nobody's pending task.
Where does what a customer asked for, but has not yet bought, live today? If the answer is "in somebody's WhatsApp", there is the problem.
I want a proposalFrequently asked questions
What people ask us before we start.
Do I need a CRM if there are three of us?
If the three of you sell and you have ever lost a customer to forgetfulness, yes. Size is not what decides: it is how many open conversations you have at once.
Is a spreadsheet not enough?
It is enough until two people edit it at once, or until somebody needs to know what was discussed three months ago.
What is the difference from a contact list?
The list stores who they are. The CRM stores what happened and what is still to be done.
What if my reps do not want to use it?
That is the right objection and they are usually correct. It is solved by taking data entry away from them, not by forcing them to do it.
